"Let's come together for an open and transparent afternoon, where we add fresh insights to the conversation, examine how to bring ethical consumption to the industry.  By fostering direct conversations among coffee industry partners through discussion and debate on pressing issues, we hope to create a community of trust which allow all stakeholders in coffee industry to grow together. It is a chance for industry peers to collaborate and determine best practices for maintaining sustainable business relationships as market opportunities grow and change."


Purpose of this Event

Daniel J. Groshong - Founding Director, The Hummingfish Foundation

Hummingfish Foundation [http://hummingfish.org/] is a Hong Kong registered charity organization designed to help add value to the earth's unspoiled natural environments, by helping in the promotion of sustainable community-based nature and cultural tourism. Daniel has been running sustainable projects in Timor including helping smallhold farmers in a remote village called Laclubar by purchasing de-pulping machines, building drying racks, constructing a central warehouse and forming a cooperative. He will share his experience and stories on Timor (20 mins).
